Runner’s Wishlist

So now that I will be starting to run again and train for a half-marathon (and possibly a marathon), I’ve been eyeing up some running gear. You can never have too much right?? Too bad my wallet doesn’t agree :(

Here’s what’s currently on my wish-list:

nike-flyknit

 Nike Flyknit Lunar2

I’ve never ran in Nike shoes, but I love these sneakers and they’d be great for lifting and cross training.

lulu-tank

 lululemon Tone It Tank

And it has a pocket in the back for your keys and gels!

sweaty-bands

 Sweaty Bands

I’ve heard so many people rave about this headband, I might give it a try. I sweat a lot, so it’d be perfect for me. I’ve used Halo bands in the past but these patterns are just really cute!

erica-sara-designs

Erica Sara Designs Say It Do It Wrap Bracelet

Love, love, love this bracelet. Would be perfect for long runs and hard workouts when you need those positive affirmations.

yurbuds

Yurbuds for women

I currently wear some “Beats” knock-offs from Five Below (hey, if I’m going to be sweating in them I’m okay with a pair of $5 headphones), but I’ve heard a lot about Yurbuds. I usually hate buds because they fall out of my ears but supposedly these don’t budge, and help you hear ambient noise as well, like car traffic.

What’s currently on your running/fitness wishlist?

What’s one thing you can’t live without when it comes to running or fitness?

T.J. Maxx Activewear

We all want cute workout clothes right? Good quality…but also makes you feel and look good while exercising. Well, T.J. Maxx has a huge variety of activewear; and the prices make it even better!

I outlined a few places you can buy gym clothes without breaking the bank, but T.J. Maxx has a great selection in and of itself. Plus, you can order right online if there isn’t one near you.

I went on their website to do some online shopping for you all, and found a lot of great items. I’m not familiar with all of the brands they carry, so I’m only listing the ones I have tried and love: MPG, 90 Degree and RBX. They really are great quality, and as I mentioned in this video the materials used are pretty close to brands like lululemon.

If you don’t feel like splurging on workout clothes, check out these items on the T.J. Maxx website!

Shorts

New Balance Boylston Mini Shorts – $14.99

I didn’t mention these above, but we know New Balance is a good brand, and I love anything in coral!

90 Degree Ruched Side Stretch Shorts – $12.99

I have similar shorts from 90 Degree and they really are pretty comparable to the lululemon spandex shorts.

MPG Electrolyte Compression Shorts – $16.99

Pants

RBX Stretch Yoga Capri Pants – $14.99

90 Degree Athletic Capri Pants – $14.99

No really, I love coral-I need these!

Tops

90 Degree Ruched Sleeves Zip Yoga Jacket – $24.99

Love the thumbholes-looks perfect for spring running. I actually got a similar jacket from Old Navy too!

RBX Heather Long Sleeve Top – $12.99

I have this top as well, and let me tell you, it is so soft! You can wear it to the gym or for running, but you can also wear it as an everyday casual top.

90 Degree Ruched Racerback Tank – $9.99 (!)

MPG Adora Bra Tank Top – $16.99

I really like the back of this top as well.

So there you have it folks. A bunch of great and cute stuff at T.J. Maxx. I also find these brands at Marshall’s, which is similar (and I believed owned by the same people) as T.J. Maxx. You can find a lot of things that look like higher-end stuff, and I’m all about that!

Do you shop at T.J. Maxx?

Gym Outfit Ideas

Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean you can’t dress in colorful clothing-especially at the gym!

I love wearing bright colors no matter what season. I was doing a little online shopping and found these great, colorful pieces for the next time you hit the gym. They are all different price points too!

Also, can we talk about how Old Navy has some great workout pieces that aren’t going to break the bank at all? I love their capri spandex pants!

gym outfit ideas

Nike Legend 2.0 Tight Fit Capris ($65) – I love working out/running in capri pants, and I love the ombre detailing in these! They also have a minty green color option as well.

UnderArmour Women’s UA Tech Space Dye T-Shirt ($24.99) - Do you prefer t-shirts or tanks when you work out? I like t-shirts because I like to wipe my sweat on my sleeve…hot, I know. I like the pattern on this-I’m all about patterns!

Old Navy Women’s Active Compression Tanks ($10.00) - First of all, 10 bucks for a tank? Great price! Like I said, Old Navy’s active line is pretty legit, and sometimes you can find awesome sales like this one (original price was $19.99).

Nike 4″ Rival Printed Shorts ($55) - There are a few things I like about these shorts. 1) The wide waistband. I love wide waistbands. They’re way more comfortable when you’re moving around. 2) It’s pink and patterned. Two of my favorite things. 3) Pocket inside for your keys, and zipper pocket in the back.

Lululemon Rest Less Tank ($65) - I wish I liked wearing tanks because this one is really cute! I like the built in sports bra and racer back, as well as the pattern on the sports bra and color of the shirt. There are a few different color options as well. Plus, I like flowy shirts and tanks over tight fitting ones.

Which of these is your favorite?
